Percy Jackson and the Olympians Part 1

If you're so ready to move past harry potter we have just the jumpstart for you. The latest teenage hero doesn't necessarily use magic to fight evil. But he does use some pretty powerful skills, Thanks to a pretty well known dad.

When your dad's a greek god -- you expect to live in a shadow.

ALEXANDRA DADDARIO: "We are the children of god's."

Sounds rough -- and super cool at the same time "percy jackson and the olympians"---the lightning thief" introduces greek mythology into modern times -- and into the lives of teenage kids.

LOGAN LERHMAN: "He is kinda symbolic of any other teenager in the world he's got problems like anybody else might have he has disabilities, dyslexia, adha. He's kinda looking down upon himself and insecure and right off the bat he finds out he is the son of Poseidon and it turns out all of his weaknesses, his disabilities end up being his greatest strengths"

Logan lerman and alexandra daddario fight the darkest of dark..."hades" himself...With the help of some inherent skills...

ALEXANDRA DADDARIO: "We have one parent who is a god and one parent who is a mortal so we have half god in us i guess and my mother is athena"

"You are half human half god you inherited certain skills, you know battle skills that you know you are just inherit fighting techniques you have an inherited knowledge of greek mythology."

What do i know -- it's all greek to me
