Valentine's Day is only 13 days away, and if you don't have the cash to splurge on your sweet honey just write them a good old-fashioned love letter. The cast of the movie "Dear John" agrees.
Young stars Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum play a young couple in love in the movie "Dear john."
AMANDA SEYFRIED: "Dear John is quite a heavy romantic movie."
The couple is faced with the reality that many people are dealing with right now having a loved one fight for our country over-seas. That's a really long-distance relationship.
Letters were all they had to keep connected something that truly inspired the co-stars.
CHANNING TATUM: "Its more beautiful because you can really like write some beautiful things, i like to write, so i should problably do that more."
AMANDA SEYFRIED: "Writing letters, making cards, making something from, creating something is so much more romantic than anything."
But now-a days, technology makes it so easy for us to forget we even own a pen and paper.
CHANNING TATUM: "I'm problably more of i guess, an emailer, a phone guy i guess."
But Amanda still has hope.
AMANDA SEYFRIED: "I think every once in a while if youre inspired you should just write a letter, and maybe fedex it."
And if you go check out this flick make sure to bring a box of tissues.
AMANDA SEYFRIED: "When you go see it, which you should do, you can expect a lot of love, alot of intensity, a lot of tears."
