The Princess and The Frog
The Princess and The Frog was seeing green this weekend. Disney's latest, is a box office hit part of what makes this movie magical, is the music bet you didn't know the man behind those catchy Disney tunes, penned one for Deco too.
Disney movies are famous for leaving a song in your heart in "The Princess and The Frog," R and B star Neyo sings the title track, the man behind the catchy tune is the one and only Randy Newman.
RANDY NEWMAN: "In general they talk to me about what. it;s ;like ordering a hamburger and choc. milkshake and saying that's what i want and i try and give it back to them."
You know his stufft he Academy Award winner has penned tunes for "The Natural," "Monsters Inc," "Toy Story,"and now the Princess and the Frog."
RANDY NEWMAN: "Often they will give me enough to where they'll say something i can use in the song. I just try to do something that first tries to satisfy myself and that will satisfy the requirement.
Now Randy can add, Deco Drive to his resume.
RANDY NEWMAN: "Deco Drive what's it about?"
Randy's written about everything from pigs to parents. So why not our little show?
RANDY NEWMAN: "We're quirky, were pricky ahhh what's the name of the show again."

RANDY NEWMAN: "Were really alive, here on deco drive not bad its a couple lines at the end. and it's stolen from some circus music or something."
We're not too proud to use stolen goods.
RANDY NEWMAN: "Pirky and quirky and almost alive...not almost that's not bad though here on deco drive in miami sheeesh."
Wait...Wait...We're not going to break yet.
RANDY NEWMAN: "Just like that this crappie tune i came up with..."
RANDY NEWMAN: "And it's got a big show biz ending here on deco drive ba, dum, bum sheech."
Throw in some jazz hands and you've got a hit!
