Thousands pack Times Square and shiver in the cold they're not too bright. We know the MIA is off the chain dozens of stars woke up to champagne, hang-overs right here in the magic city. Check out the New Years' Party Patrol.

Lindsay Lohan was all smiles showing up on South Beach to ring in the New Year with girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
Despite reports of constant fighting, the two looked very happy together. Sam worked the decks with lilo right by her side. So did lilo make a resolution to stop arguing?

Don't count on it.
 
LINDSAY LOHAN: "Don't ever make New Years resolutions it's too much pressure. I feel like when you tell yourself youre not gonna do something then you end up doing it and then you're bummed about everything."

No one was bummed at this party. The two lovebirds counted down with the crowd.

Samantha might have been a little too busy playing records, she forgot to give girlfriend a New Year's eve kiss  waited for lindsay to explode, but Sam made a quick recovery. Watch as she pulls lindsay down behind the dj booth for a quick kiss. How romantic.

A few blocks south, Prive nightclub hosted a real legend. R and B star John Legend kicked off 2009 with a bevy of beautiful women.

Back on the mainland, Jamie Foxx and Solange Knowles threw down for a New Year's day bash at Karu and Y. While Jamie snuck in through the back entrance, plenty of celebs came through the front door. Celebs like Beyonce's sister Solange.

SOLANGE: "It's new years i have a lot of friends here with me and i'm exited to bring in the new years here."

Also excited to be in Miami rapper Fabulous, SNL cast member Keenan Thomson and Saw 5 Scream Queen Megan Good. With the temps below freezing in New York, is it any wonder celebs want to drop the ball right here in South Florida?
