Remember this...back in the 80s, a who's who of music came together to sing We Are The World to help fight hunger in Africa.

25 years later, the best of the best are gathering once more, this time to benefit the relief efforts in Haiti.

MYA: "This is actually a historical event, but more than a historical event, this is about Haiti, and coming together to help."

Tony Bennet, Josh Groban, Academy Award Nominee Jeff Bridges, and Robin Thicke are amongst the many hooking up to remake the classic tune.

This time around, the song's got a hip-hop twist courtesy of artists like Jamie Fox and Snoop Dogg.

LIONEL RICHIE: "In the new generation, hip-hop is the Bruce Springsteen."

Producers Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie created the original version, and are teaming up to make magic all over again.

LIONEL RICHIE: "And this one right here. I must tell you the enthusiasm, what we just witnessed in there I must tell you i never witness anything like it, again it's the new generation doIng it."

New generation artists like the Jonas Brothers, Jennifer Hudson, And Haitian-American Entertainer Wyclef.

WYCLEF JEAN: "I think the end purpose is for us to have Haiti in our minds not for now but for when the cameras go out this song will live on.  Keep in mind, when we did this for Africa it brought a whole another energy to the African nations and we're hoping this happens with Haiti."
