Listen up foodies! Smith and Wollensky is teaming up with some of Sobe's best restaurants to serve up great food for a great cause raising funds for Haiti.
CHEF DANA BRIZEE: "All my buddies here south of fifth, we all decided to get together and throw an event to help Haiti. We have a lot of Haitians who work at our restaurant who are very loyal employees, so we're trying to help them out."
The South of Fifth fundraiser is bringing together Joe's, Devito, Red, Clarke's, and Smith and Wollensky of course each one serving up some of their specialties with all the proceeds benefitting the University of Miami Global Institute Project medishare and Ecoworks International.
CHEF DANA BRIZEE: "There's gonna be about twenty different appetizers floating around upstairs. So we're asking everyone to come, make a nice donation to the event, and come by and see us tonight."
Dig into some angry shrimp, sliders, and delicious flatbreads or try some of the shrimp pizza i helped prepare.
So come on South Florida, eat, drink, and help others be merry.
