Reality shows like "American Idol" and "So You Think You Can Dance" really produce some super stars hence. Deco's good friend "Legacy" from "So You Think You Can Dance". Deco kicked it with hottie who's been up to some really big things!

Hometown b-boy Jonathan Perez AKA "Legacy" rocked the stage on season six of "So You Think You Can Dance".

JONATHAN PEREZ: "It was a life changing experience, something that i can't even begin to tell you."

He showed off his unique hip-hop style on the show and proved he can dance.

JONATHAN PEREZ: "I think the ballroom stuff was crazy for me."

He did'nt win, but he's moved on to bigger and better things we're talking the Oscars dahling.

JONATHAN PEREZ: "Its the first time ever in history, for there to be a hiphop audition for the academy awards."

So, did he make the cut?

JONATHAN PEREZ: "I made it, i actually got asked to help out a little on it and be part of it."

And lucky for us, we caught a sneak peak of the routine. Legacy is also kicking it on the big screen.

JONATHAN PEREZ: "I have a movie that just came out, i was on the red carpet two days ago, its called b-girl, its a nice story you can get it on dvd."

JONATHAN PEREZ: "Another movie that's coming out in august that i am apart of is step up 3D, that is gonna be exciting."

Yes, step up fans, legacy is playing himself in the flick.

JONATHAN PEREZ: "Its the first dance movie ever in 3D"

And he doesnt stop there.

JONATHAN PEREZ: "Theres a book that i am trying to write right now, you can get my instructional dvd."

He's even got a new line of inspirational t-shirts...

JONATHAN PEREZ: "I have three different shirts one is live, one is learn and one is love."

Shirts, movies, oscars legacy is living up to his nickname!
